A Christian Non-Governmental Organization Empowering Communities for a Better Future
To see communities achieve holistic, sustainable development through advocacy, empowerment, and improved livelihoods.
To empower communities with knowledge and skills that foster sustainable development in all essential aspects of life—improved livelihoods, mental and physical health, environmental sustainability, and land rights advocacy.
In the heart of northern Uganda, the scars of war remain visible, but so does the incredible resilience of the human spirit. At Abura Community Empowerment for Vulnerable Children and Women (ACEFVCAW), we are rebuilding lives shattered by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) conflict—one child, one woman, one family at a time.
