Abura Community Empowerment for Vulnerable Children and Women (ACEFVCAW) back then known as Abura save the children for future Development is a non-governmental organization (NGO) which was started in early 2015 in Abura Oyam District northern part of Uganda with major aim of saving vulnerable children and women nationwide who were affected physically, mentally, socially, psychologically and economically by the rebels and terrorists of Joseph Kony under the Lord’s Resistance Army(LRA) in 1996.Upto date children and women are still suffering as a result of the repercussions. The headquarters of the organization are currently based in Matugga-Kampala along Bombo Road Wakiso District. The organization was started by ADONGO JUSTINE OKELLO who supported the organization with her own initial fundings and dedication.
To save the children and women in Abura and other communities for future development and war free environment sustainably.
