Abura Community Empowerment for Vulnerable Children and Women(ACEFVCAW)
Abura Community Empowerment for Vulnerable Children and Women (ACEFVCAW) back then known as Abura save the children for future Development is a non-governmental organization (NGO) which was started in early 2015 in Abura Oyam District northern part of Uganda with major aim of saving vulnerable children and women nationwide who were affected physically, mentally, socially, psychologically and economically by the rebels and terrorists of Joseph Kony under the Lord’s Resistance Army(LRA) in 1996.Upto date children and women are still suffering as a result of the repercussions. The headquarters of the organization are currently based in Matugga-Kampala along Bombo Road Wakiso District. The organization was started by ADONGO JUSTINE OKELLO who supported the organization with her own initial fundings and dedication.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To create a better children and women foundation foundation with a war free environment
- To inspire, motivate children and women in the entire communities towards achieving and earning a better living nationwide.
- Ensuring food security in ABURA and other communities nationwide.
- To empower the disadvantaged children, women and marginalized HIV/AIDS victims to survive within the environment.
- Ensuring constant supply of clean drinking water
- Ensuring good health in children and women through deities, good sanitation and good wastes disposal.
- Ensuring quality education to children timely and adequately through construction of schools, provision of scholastic materials as well as teacher training programs.
- To promote technical skills and training so as to hell with job seeking.
- To create affordable income generating projects to women in ABURA and other communities nationwide.
- To ensure availability of market for finished local goods to widen income.
- To support widows left desperate and hopeless due to the LRA rebel’s war.

- Softening the hearts of children and women so as to remove scars left to them by the war while moving with “no revenge” slogan (rehabilitation).
